The Mission of Reunion Church

Helping people find their way home

Our Vision

Planting churches that bring hope, purpose and a forever family to our communities and world.

Why Church Planting?

A church plant focused on bringing hope and purpose to families in Thousand Oaks, California is one of the most strategic uses of kingdom resources in our country.

Studies have found that conversion rates of new churches exceed those of established churches. Churches less than 3 years old convert on average 10 per year per 100 people. Churches 3-16 years old convert 5, and churches older than 15 convert 3. Studies have also found that new plants baptize over three times as many people as established churches.

Churches focused on families have the best chance to bring people to Christ. Two out of three Christians make a commitment to accept Jesus before their 18th birthday.

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
– Romans 10:14 –
